The Hilton Head Brewing Company first opened it’s
doors in 1994. It was the first microbrewery to open in
South Carolina since the end of Prohibition.

Having closed it’s doors in mid 2006, the Hilton Head Brewing Company re-opened under new owners Brian Sigler and Juan Brantly in December 2006. The “Brewpub”, as it is known by Hilton Head locals, is once again open - with a new menu, an updated interior, and the same great beer you remember!

While much has changed at the Hilton Head Brewing Company, our beer selection is almost exactly as it was in 1994 . We’ve kept all the old recipes that brought you here in years past, though you might be pleasantly surprised to find a few new beers too. Regardless of the beer you choose, there’s a smile at the bottom of every pint!
